EHC Signs Exclusive 3-Year Agreement To Supply Paris Underground Escalator Handrails

Baesweiler, Germany - September 8, 2003

EHC has successfully won the bid for a long-term handrail supply agreement for the Paris Underground in France. With close to 900 escalators in the Paris Underground, this is one of the world's largest transit systems. This agreement strengthens EHC's market share in France, where ACM is a licensee of EHC and provides handrails and field splicing services. EHC's high quality standards and ability to supply NT (thermoplastic urethane) handrails were key in meeting the RATP's needs for the next three years.
