Environmental Policy Statement

EHC Global is a leader in the design, manufacture and service of handrails and other products for the lift industry. in direct service of "making the world a better place" and through the "Process Of On-Going Improvements" EHC Global is committed to developing and executing operational goals to meet all applicable legal and customer requirements while striving to prevent pollution through waste and energy reduction.

Mindful of the impact our products and resources have on the environment, EHC has developed a corporate management system to ensure that the following requirements are being met:

• Management and reduction of waste;
• Developing environmentally responsible product lines;
• Using raw materials that are less harmful to the environment. (For example, EHC has phased out the production of Hypalon rubber handrails in favour of the environmentally responsible NT [thermoplastic polyurethane] handrails);
• Effective resource management resulting in minimal wastage;
• Developing and maintaining corporate environmental policies and standards;
• Compliance within industry standards regarding environmental preservation.

EHC aims to research and implement innovative ways to increase energy efficiency during every stage of our operation.

Safety

Workplace Health and Safety Policy

A healthy and safe work environment for all employees is essential to the success of our business. At EHC we are dedicated to always finding ways of improving our health and safety performance. EHC protects individuals from hazards in the workplace by implementing training and procedures that meet health and safety targets and are in compliance with applicable local legislation. EHC continuously monitors and, if necessary, adjusts these procedures to best prevent occupational illness and injury.

All EHC employees are responsible for their own well-being by complying with health and safety procedures, and reporting any workplace hazards to their supervisor or a health and safety representative.

To help ensure EHC facilities are safe and healthy, the President and CEO will enforce this policy globally by establishing responsibilities to different levels of the global management team and holding them accountable.

EHC values its customers and is constantly evolving the product line to offer added value alongside quality key benefits for new and existing clients. Our concern for safety is prevalent with products such as:

• Safety messages applied to escalator handrails - can be used to remind passengers to hold the handrail, mind children and avoid using strollers on the escalator;
• Radiation detection equipment - portable and industrial devices alert manufacturers whenever radiation is present;
• Antimicrobial escalator handrails - EHC has developed AMRail handrails which inhibit the growth of microbes on the escalator handrails that millions of passengers hold every day and is a permanent additive produced within the handrail;
• Escalator safety brushes - a gentle, yet effective reminder to escalator passengers to mind the gap between the step and the balustrade.

We are a proud supporter of the Elevator & Escalator Safety Foundation - each year this organization provides training to thousands of children to educate them on using lift devices safely.

1. Clearly define all of our customer's requirements and regularly and communicate with them to ensure their continued satisfaction;

4. Constantly improve through our commitment to POOGI (Process Of On-Going Improvement) and our ISO 9001 Quality System.

Committed to customer satisfaction, we start at the beginning - monitoring all material component suppliers and follow up with rigorous testing on a regular basis. Isolating any possible issues and acting quickly to administer corrective action ensures our customers the least possible inconvenience.
